Jonathan is a respected independent arts critic, mainly reviewing theatre across the UK along with the occasional movie and ballet too. A member of the Critics’ Circle, his reviews are published on www.jonathanbaz.com. As a features writer Jonathan also interviews the great and the good of the arts world, with 2023 having included a fascinating discussion with Sir Tim Rice. Jonathan was the last journalist to have been granted an interview with the late Ennio Morricone, the legendary Italian film composer. Away from his writing and broadcasting, Jonathan heads up a thriving international accountancy team and is also executive producer on a movie shortly to go into production. He enjoys travelling and the various malt whiskies of Islay.
